Title: ReFax new feature on SGCnetwork.com

SGCNetwork.com has added a feature that allows you to fax or email an SGC work order to your shop. You can do this from any Web portal that provides access to your account. This option is referred to as a 're-fax', because the feature only becomes available after SGC has attempted to fax or email the initial document to you.

Q: What does this new feature do?
A: It enables an SGCNetwork.com user to re-fax a job order to his/her shop. This should allow your shop to obtain additional copies of the work order without needing to call in the request, saving you time and effort.

Q: How does it work?
A: The work order must initially be issued to you by a Safelite CSR. That is, it does not become available on site for your shop to re-fax until after there has been at least one attempt from SGC to send it to you. In this manner, shops cannot issue themselves work orders until the job order has been established. Once the initial attempt has been made, the order becomes accessible on the Web site in real time. Your shop can then re-fax it by merely clicking on the link. When you do so, a pop up window will be presented onscreen, letting you know that our mainframe has attempted to transmit the fax.

Q: If a fax prints out at my shop and is garbled or otherwise illegible, what should I do?
A: Please send us a message by selecting option #8 from the CONTACT box, located in the upper right hand corner of the SGCNetwork.com Web page. Be specific about the nature of the problem in your message.

Q: If a fax prints out at my shop and the rates are illogical (all X's, 0's or 9's) what should I do?
A: Please send us a message by selecting option #8 from the CONTACT box, located in the upper right hand corner of the SGCNetwork.com Web page. Be specific about the nature of the problem in your message.

Q: I used the feature, but the fax failed to arrive on my machine.
Who should I contact?
A: Please send us a message by selecting option #4 from the CONTACT box, located in the upper right hand corner of the SGCNetwork.com Web page.

Q: If it is determined that a fax number needs to be corrected in the SGC database, how should I notify the appropriate contacts?
A: Please send us a message by selecting option #8 from the CONTACT box, located in the upper right hand corner of the SGCNetwork.com Web page

Q: I tried to re-fax an order, but it still hasn¿t shown up. How long should I wait before trying again, and how many attempts should I make before contacting someone with SGC?
A: Please wait at least ONE HOUR between re-fax attempts, as the fax server facilitates a lot of activity during peak hours. Please do not re-fax more than twice in a single day. If you have made two attempts and still have not received the document, it could indicate a concern that requires review. Please contact us.

Q: How do I find this function on the Web site?
A: The user must be logged in to the SGCNetwork.com. Once you click on REFERRALS / OPEN ORDERS, you will find the link posted to the far right side of the screen. (Note: If accessing the site under a parent level User ID, you must first select /become one of your shops before this feature will displayed.)

Q: How soon after the creation of the claim record will faxes be available on the site?
A: The re-fax option does not become available online until after the work order has been completed by Safelite personnel. Once established, Safelite will transmit the work order to you in the standard fashion. After that initial fax has been issued, the option to re-fax the work order for that job will become available on the site.
